McBee`s Bar-B-Que in Jourdanton

They have the best bar b que around this area.its a short drive.

Driving through to get home to Corpus Christi, we stopped at this bbq place. It doesn't look like much, but the chopped bbq sandwich they serve makes you disregard the appearance outside. It was simply delicious with the sauce mixed in so well with the chopped bbq, it compliments it and doesn't overwhelm it. Even the raw onion tastes so good and it doesn't give you that strong taste (bad breath). We'll come back again for sure!

The food tasted great

Great fall-a-part tender brisket! Have eaten here many times. The cheesy potatoes are great here to! Can’t see anyone leaving this place still hungry! Located at the main stop light in Jourdanton.

Both bathrooms were Out of Order. The Pinto beans tasted scorched. The barbq was good.

Potato salad out of a bucket...... Really! Too much fat on the brisket, I like a little bit of brisket with my fat, beans did not appear to be fresh and no sign of pickles or onions. Must have been an off day! Not going back.

Just received my order, brisket not cooked all the way. Service was not friendly at all. It was like , it was a bother just to get our order. Should of drove off but didn’t because been coming for years and food was always so good.

Good BBQ. I prefer McBees over Bill Miller for taste and quality.

Love these people!! The food is good too!! Left my purse at closing time, (with rent $$in it! So scary!) the owner went down to the restaurant and put my purse in their safe!! Talk about good people! 💖😄

Flies, flies everywhere! Staff did not care that flies landed on food as they cut it. Green beans and sweet tea were fine. I didn’t eat the meat because of the flies

Love the BBQ but looks like the brisket sandwich got smaller but it's still a damn good sandwich all the BBQ is good

Stay away from this place. I will never go back. I'm no food expert this is just what I think and my opinion is that the food that they served us was at least 3 days old chicken was like if I was eating beef jerky brisket was dry all in all. The only good thing was the sweet tea

Always worth the drive from San Antonio

We had brisket plates. Meat was plentiful and tasty. Baked potato casserole was delicious. Green beans were good. Tea tasted fresh and flavorful. The two women serving the food were pleasant and friendly.

I think the food is awesome. But depending on who's working is what kind of service you get. Every time I order I'm ALWAYS given onions & pickles on the side, for my brisket sandwiches. I notice only when certain people are working they want to charge me. This has never happened in the past but now it's happening off and on. When I question it they say it's always been like that. Now I'm not old...my memory is perfectly fine...so I know it hasn't ALWAYS been like that. I've been a customer for 5+ years & will continued to be one because the food is great.

Me and my son just discovered this place via a friend's referral, and WOOOOW this is the best brisket and ribs we have ever had !!!! The staff were so incredibly friendly and answered all our questions with a smile !!! We will definitely be back as soon as possible !!! Thank you Ladies

Stopped buy for some potato salad and lady said large was 10 dollars was like wth can buy like 20 pound's of potatoes for that price no ty.

I really like there food here .one reason is I live bout 100 yards from it and love the morning air with smoke flavor from Bee's they dont open early so I lope on in to work which is 120 yards from home and smell it by now Bar-B-Q is stuck like and old song so I go eat. Food is great service is great. Waiting is quick .My only hump is small parking lot . dont know why im concerned on parking because I walk over there.Give Bee's a shot i think you will be pleased .....

We stopped by for a late lunch. The ladies were very courteous, the food was delicious.

Sad to say went in this morning around 11 am and paid $46.00 for a big meal and got only meat and beans and bbq sauce said they were out off everything and didn't have any other offers and 2 truck drivers walked out also never again

Took a brisket to get smoke while visting wasnt cook an was asked if we wanted leave longer. No were visting from out town very disappointed.. Customer acts like its my fault..never again..guess thats why pleasanton location failed..

Back in 2015 the BBQ look good, the only two bad things were the flies flying all over the place and the smart remarks from one of the staff members when I brought up my concern. Will I return to this place hmmm not anytime soon. I am giving this place two stars because food tasted good but, comments and flies have to go.

Maybe I went on the wrong day.. but for my first time I wasn't too impressed. But I'd be willing to try once more.

BBQ tasted like old fashioned Texas BBQ. The prices were reasonable for their products. The brisket was lean, the pinto beans were slow cooked and the potato salad was chunky and well balanced. The basic family meal fed the three of us very well. The staff were really nice as well

Meat was a bit dry. But sausage was good. So was chicken

A bit pricey but all in all good BBQ. The chicken is awesome however brisket is weighed with fat but portion sizes are still generous.

The service was very nice but the food not so much. I only got a sausage poboy and i should have gone to bill millers. The sausage was dry and over priced.

It's good BBQ. Just wish the sweet tea was actually sweet.

It is good Texas bar-b-que. The servings were plentiful. I liked the potato salad. The brisket was tender. Everything tasted good and was fresh. I liked that country music was playing on the radio. It was clean and the service was quick.

If its anything like the other mcbees in Pleasanton, then ill pass and head to HEB cause they make it fresh daily, sides are awesome... The brisket is juicy tender... Its great

I have definitely had much better bbq. Brisket was actually too fatty. Pork ribs were bland and the tea was soured. Restaurant needs a handyman! Surprised the health department hasn't said anything about the paper and yes I said paper toilet lid. Will never consider this restaurant again!

Really Good. All the bbq'd meats looked and tasted great. The sides were homemade and tasty. The had cheesy bacon topped mashed potatoes! Yummmm!!!

Love the bbq here! Had the brisket sandwich after the first bite I said WOW!!! It taste so good and was hot like it just came off the pit. Im from San Antonio and I'll definitely be coming back! Prices are great and the staff too!
